Maintenance after using our products

This type of product is made of steel but is coated with a layer of enamel, so that rust is not a problem. Before using for the first time and after, clean it with soap and water. The enamelled articles are easy to clean and store and do not need oil after use, the enamel coating facilitates the cleaning and maintenance of the product. For cleaning, do not use scouring pads or abrasive products that may scratch the surface. Store it in a cool, dry place. Our products are not non-stick items.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME.

Before the first use, you should wash the product well with soap and water or if you prefer you can boil some hot water over low heat for 10-15 minutes, you can also add a little vinegar. Once clean, be sure to dry it quickly and cover it with a layer of oil. Do not let it dry outdoors and do not put it in the dishwasher. When storing, keep it in a dry place and keep it wrapped in paper or a plastic bag, if possible.

DAILY USE.

Never leave the empty container on the fire for a long time because it may overheat. Constantly check the level of the flame or fire. For cooking you can use stainless steel and wood items, the use of plastic items is not recommended. When cleaning, do not use scouring pads or abrasive products that may scratch the surface. Keep in mind that you have to use adequate protection, because when cooking, all parts of the utensil are hot. Never leave the product on fire unattended or within reach of children. Remember that after using it you should dry it quickly and apply a layer of oil. Store it in a cool, dry place. Our products are not non-stick items.

Wash the cast iron griddle before its first use. It is not a non-stick product. After use, let cool it before cleaning. Cast iron is a porous material so the griddle can get stained. For a better conservation, once cleaned you can spread it with oil. It is not necessary to do this with the enameled iron.
